Man, oh man, has it been a crazy fantasy football season in 2024. I created this website so that way I can keep my fan base up-to-date with all of my five main leagues. This midseason manifesto is bringing you up to s speed on the names of the leagues, why these leagues are important to me, my current record and standing and what you could look forward to from this website in regards to my approach all of the leagues in regards to strategy, maneuvering the waiver wire, searching for great trade offers & packages and detailing all of my joys and pains throughout the last eight weeks of the 2024 fantasy football season. Let's go ahead and break down the leagues I'm in:
1) The Coqui League - the league that I created with the format, settings, platform and managers, culminating into the best fantasy football league and experience in the world. I was able to assemble a collection of the best managers from all of the leagues that I participate in. I love the vibrant trade block, active chat and savvy waiver movement making it highly competitive.
2)The Guru League- although this is 1 of only 2, 10-man leagues I participate in. I ranked this league highly due to its competitive nature and managers. It truly is a sight to behold as 4 of the 10 managers actively have shows or podcast about fantasy football. A bunch of truly dedicated individuals, characters, history and drama that truly set this league apart from the rest. Follow closely in the blogs cause you will be entertained.
3) Boats -N- Hoes League - I feel truly honored to be the black sheep of this league, as it is comprise fully first responders and veterans. The managers that have been able to meet and have the privilege of going to actual NFL games with make the bonds in this league a lot stronger. It does have an active chat, but unfortunately you have to come prepared for this leagues draft day. as it only deficit is its trade block and a deep bench. Make no mistake, conquering this 12-man league is on my bucket list.
4)Heart of Champions League - my introduction into the standard format, we're hunting for touchdowns is the name of the game. I have a drive to conquer all the formats, and this league has allowed me the opportunity to flex my muscle in a standard realm. I've only been in this league for 2 years and major changes like adding super flex position this year have made this league particularly competitive. Let's see if I can make the playoffs and a deep run.
5) iHoop League - this is my oldest League and was the base on which I grew my fantasy football network. It holds a special place in my heart as the year that I won the championship was the same year and my favorite team, The Philadelphia Eagles ,won their championship. it has recently made some changes which I love like adding a third receiver but it ranks last as I have been excommunicated. Which frankly didn't matter because it was the league with the worst trade possibilities and dead chat. which only spoke about the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Football.
So that you have it all five of my leagues ranked on favorite & important to the active and dead. now, let's take a look at how I'm sitting in the rankings and standings of each one of these leagues.
1) Coqui - (5-2) #3 of 12
2) Guru - (1-6) #9 of 10
3) Boats N Hoes - (3-4) #8 of 12
4) Heart of Champs - (4-3) #7 of 12
5) iHoop - (2-5) #11 of 12
Tomorrow, I'll be releasing individual midseason reviews for each one of my leagues. This will include: who I drafted, injuries that I have incurred and the strategies I want to implement. we will review other league, managers and their rankings and standings and make pickems for this weekend.
